I have been taking my 2 staffies to training classes at The Pawfect Solution with Shelley Tomkins since last year. Lexi in the shy dog class has become a much more confident little dog. Jake in the adult learners class is happy showing off what new skills and tricks he has learned. They have both come such a long way thanks to Shelley's experience expertise and advice. Suki is our first ever dog and we were her third home in the first six months of her life. She was sad and unconfident, we needed help to learn how to tap into Suki's needs.

If you are looking for a dog trainer to teach your dog  to sit, stay and roll over there are plenty of dog trainers out there. However if you wish to learn how to empower your dog to make the right decisions Shelley is the trainer for you. She actually changed our lives and we now have a very happy, confident Saluki Whippet Cross. I would only recommend Shelly if someone was looking for a dog trainer I'm so glad she was recommended to us

Shelley was recommended to me after we purchased an 8 month old chihuahua puppy called Buddy who had clearly not been socialised with other dogs and was very nervous around people he didn’t know. In fact he was pretty much unsure of everything and was taking a while to settle in his new surroundings. Shelley really took the time to get to know him during her first visit and immediately set about helping us put a plan together for not only his training but also gave advice on diet, interaction with children and tips on how to ensure our cats were as comfortable as possible with the new arrival. As a first time dog owner she really put me at ease and was very thorough in her approach ensuring that the well-being of all our animals was priority. Two weeks later I am amazed at how quickly Buddy is progressing and following my second session with Shelley am feeling so much more confident in how to go about clicker training. I really look forward to continuing working with Shelley and seeing Buddy progress under her guidance. She is understanding, professional and her support in between our sessions has been invaluable. I can’t recommend her highly enough .

Bailey our Chow Chow puppy has had one to one training. Shelley was brilliant, kind and understanding and trained Steve and I - we needed the training so that we could train Bailey. If I had an issue Shelley was always available to offer help and support. We cannot thank Shelley enough, her help was in invaluable. Everything that Shelley said made complete sense and definitely works for Bailey and us. A big thank you Shelley, we couldn't have done it without you.

The service from Shelley is amazing, reassures me with my constant questions, came and had a visit to our home to see my pup, and gave me great tips and advice to sort out a few teething problems with our newest addition to the family! Can not wait for the classes to start now!
