Foundation skills to ensure the best start for your new addition. Handling and grooming skills for family members. Lead handling, understanding body language and recognition of stress, understanding rewards and how to train in the most effective and stress free ethical ways. Pay attention games, Settle calmly, meet and greet (not jumping up), give and take (drop), recall, wait. Six 50 minute sessions. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of four dogs and their families. This ensures plenty of time for the individual learner. Course fees include a welcome pack of treats, toy and clicker plus weekly hand outs on exercises taught in class to support your home learning. Class participants can also benefit from discounted one to one lessons for the duration of your course dates.
