Adolescent focus course

Service Description

We’ve all been there. Your dog may have nailed it at puppy class, totally understood all their trained behaviours and felt confident with the demands of our crazy human world. Then the Adolescent phase hits. Hormones peak, concentration troughs, confidence at both ends of the lead are at an all time low. Time to up our game and introduce some structure back into the dynamics at home and outdoors. Taking our training back a stage and providing some consistency and predictability will help your dog navigate their way. Always with reward and no punishment. Weekly lessons to increase focus and connection between you and your dog. Educating you on what’s happening for your dog at this time and how to best achieve your goals. Focus and attention games, recall, distance control, patience and self control are among the things will be taught in this class. The course is built around those who are booked on so if there is a particular issue you want to work on then please be sure to let me know. Numbers are restricted to just four dogs in this class to ensure each dog is set up to succeed and that you have ample time to ask questions to gain the knowledge you need to guide you through this stage of your dogs development. Six 50 minute lessons.
